Resiliency in The Face of Trauma Grant

The Resiliency in The Face of Trauma Grant is seeking projects that address trauma and build resilience by the work that your agency does.

Who can apply: 501c3 nonprofits, municipalities and schools who serve in Berrien County.

Maximum request amount per organization: $5,000

Documents required for your application: 

Winning projects will include some or all of the following: 

  • Increase student access to evidence-based and culturally relevant trauma support services and mental health care in schools or other organizations.
  • Promote worker mental wellness.
  • Improve responses to violence and abuses in our communities. 
  • Mitigate toxic stress.
  • Integrate knowledge about trauma into policies, procedures and practices. 
  • Build a project/activity to help a school increase its ability to help students learn in a trauma-sensitive environment.
