For more than 20 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan has been helping kids aged 6–18 create Great Futures. In addition to recreational and extracurricular activities, the Club provides after-school tutoring to put kids on a path for academic success, mentoring to guide members to create good character and leadership, and proven programming for youth to have access to healthy lifestyles.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan offers victim services and abuse prevention for children. They facilitate and coordinate the work of organizations responsible for the investigation of child sexual abuse. They seek to reduce the trauma of these investigations and to compassionately meet the needs of sexually abused children. Free. There are as many ways to grieve as there are people and it may be difficult to know where to begin your grief healing journey. Lory's Place, a grief healing and education center, provides regularly scheduled peer support group sessions that allow children and adults to interact with peers who have suffered similar death. They provide support to those who are experiencing anticipatory grief on an individual basis. Lory's Place also offers peer support groups in elementary, middle and high schools, provides community education, as well as crisis response support.
