Ingrid Weiss Slikkers is a professor of social work at Andrews University and Executive Director of the International Center for Trauma Education and Care. In her role as the center's director, Ingrid has passionately engaged with communities spanning 12 countries, ensuring that trauma education and care reach diverse populations worldwide. Before coming to Andrews, she worked as a child and family therapist for over 25 years. She is a certified clinical trauma professional and member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.

Leslie Rodriguez is a proud alumna of Andrews University, having earned her bachelor's degree in social work, and will soon complete her Master's in Social Work. Her professional experience includes aiding refugee and immigrant children through temporary foster care and reunification programs, as well as serving as a virtual school counselor for multiple schools across the United States. Leslie has experience working with diverse international groups, reflecting her commitment to global mental health initiatives. Leslie has a profound passion for serving and promoting mental health in youth.

Yailin Bruzon Contreras is currently in the final stages of completing her graduate studies in clinical social work at Andrews University. With an educational background and extensive experience working with families and children in diverse roles, she brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her practice. Yailin's passion lies in assisting individuals navigating loss and grief, a commitment that highlights her compassionate approach to social work.
